Automating YouTube Metadata Generation with GitHub Actions and Gemini

To eliminate the tedious work of writing metadata after every upload, I built a serverless pipeline that automates YouTube descriptions and timestamps for small channels. A Python script runs every 12 hours on GitHub Actions and checks a channel for new uploads using the YouTube Data API. When it finds a new video, it sends the URL directly to Gemini. The AI watches the video and writes custom metadata which is inserted directly in YouTube.
